Calling all SoCal F-bodies:

The Camaro Club of San Diego is having a cruise to Borrego Springs
Sunday April 21st. We will be leaving Poway at 10 AM and expect to
arrive at Christmas Circle around Noon for a picnic.

Any F-body drivers (and passengers, for that matter) are invited to
join us for a picnic there.

A camera crew from KCAL Channel 9 from Los Angeles will be cruising
with us taping part of a story on the demise of the F-body. This is a great
oppurtunity to demonstrate to the public at large, and to GM in particular
the enthusiam F-body drivers have for their cars.

It has occurred to me that some folks do not know where Poway or Borrego Springs
are. MapQuest is an excellent source for such information. Just enter the towns into
the data entry windows.

Take the I 15 to the Poway Road exit.

Meet at the AAA office, 12630 Sabre Springs Pkwy, Poway just North of Poway Rd.
We leave there at 10 AM sharp, so be there a bit early for a drivers' meeting and
the obligatory shooting of the breeze.

All F-bodies are invited.

Check the website in the sig for updated information.

Update:
Last evening I spoke with one of the folks involved in the organization of the cruise. He said that about 100 cars are expected to participate in this cruise. This will be the
most exciting event of the Spring in SoCal, so be there if you can.
