A 2001 SS came into the Dealership where I work to show me the paint cracks all over the hood.I just couldn't beleive what I saw.I instructed the customer to drive around to the body shop to show them.They took the SS right in and took the hood off.The body man took a razor blade to peel the paint off.The paint just peeled right off.Under the paint,there wasn't any primer at all.Just like they sprayed the paint onto the hood without any prep work at all.If you see any cracks in the paint on your hood.Drive your SS right to your dealer to get it corrected.
