It's on June 8th at Buttonwillow raceway (not far from Bakersfield, CA). I'm going to take my SS down with a friend who going with his cousin (who has a blown late model Mustang). He went last year and said it was a lot of fun. There are details on the Hotchkis website.

If you sign up before May 24th, it's $200.

... you oughta join up with the folks at N.A.S.A. for continued fun times.
They started there in Richmond.
They run Buttonwillow and Thunderhill all the time.

I'm going to run at Watkins Glen this coming Mon/Tues. Full course, can't wait.

No problem, Dan.

I'm going to be a wide-eyed kid there, for 2 days.
Just thinking about the history and the technical aspects of 3 and a half miles of track with over 100 feet in elevation changes.

WOW.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, there are just too many events and not enough days off (or money) to go to them all.

Bowling Green is our big trip this year, but we may be able to make some short trips here and there next year....

We're of course trying to get all of the SSOA Directors to Bowling Green. It's going to be a fun weekend. It's going to get here very quickly....we're already 1/3 into the year!
