I need to know what is the best brand front end car bra that won't harm the paint or vynyl decals on my 35th Anniversary LE. Is the one offered by the Chevy dealer in the accessory catalog any good? Thanks!

We have the one from the Camaro Accessories brochure from GM. It fits great and even has the Camaro logo embossed into the front of it.
I'd only recommend it for a road trip. Any use longer than that may end up wearing on your paint worse than not having one at all.

Do you own a '96-'02 Camaro SS?

I only planned on using it on a long road trip. That is the one the my wife says we should get, because it is GM approved. Have you had any concerns with it at all?

We had to fold up some cotton diapers and secure them under the top of it to keep it from flapping and rubbing the hood lines. There was no damage and it made it fit perfectly. We'll do it again for our Bowling Green trip in September.

You have to be VERY CAREFUL - like Teri said, one that rubs is worse than none at all. If it rains dirty water will be trapped under it and rub against the paint like sand paper and will leave fine scratches - I've seen them!

I've heard many people recommend the Colgan bra. I've got one on order for my Hawk along with the mirror covers.
