Good morning, fellow Camaro/Firebird Enthusiasts,For those of you who were not able to attend Gathering VI in Atlanta this
past weekend: We unveilled the 2002 Brickyard 400 Camaro SS Convertible.
(pictures attached) This is the first Brickyard Camaro to have a special
"RPO" code (RPO 'Z7D') --and that will appear on the build manifest, the
option list in the door jamb, and on the window label. You will note that
each of these 57 special SSs are painted Sebring Silver and have a
Brickyard 400 Decal Package.....you'll also note that they have the 17"
Black/Machine Edged 35th Anniversary Wheels........
Only 57 of these will be built. The car shown is now on the Camaro Legends
Tour and will be purchased by our Legends Tour Program Manager, Scott
Blewitt -- who many of you have met as he travels with the tour throughout
the country. 43 of the cars will be "won" by Chevy Dealers in the North
Central Region as part of a sales contest.....the remaining cars will be
utilized at the Camaro/Firebird Gathering in Bowling Green, Kentucky the
weekend of September 20-22. (log onto www.corvettemuseum.com for more
