...A follow up from another post...
The SLP offered "Bilstein" suspension includes a set of "Specially Calibrated Eibach springs".
With the Bilstein suspension, our cars are lowered, ...about 1 1/2" in the rear, ...maybe 1/2" up front (my rough guess-timates).
As in my other post, ...I'd like the front a little lower.
The Eibach "PRO-KIT" is advertised as lowering a car 1 1/2". Is this all around??
I'm calling Eibach, but wanted to hear any opinions...
Thanks,
Kevin

My car came with the bilstein suspension and I'd like to lower the car another 1" all the way around.

I'm interested to see what they have to say.

Come-on Joey-Red, ...you make me laugh!
...You've seen those Tom Henry/Berger cars...Admit it, ...They look great lowered all around.
OK, ...here's what I've found so far:
The Bilstein suspension includes "Specially Calibrated Eibach Springs" (Blue in color), ...in other words Eibach prepared springs as per SLP's request.
These are NOT the "Eibach Pro-Kit" springs (Black in color), ...which from what I've seen/read, ...are 'the' springs on the T.Henry and Berger cars.
For those of us (myself included) who ordered the Bilstein for handling and that "lowered look", ...the Eibach Prokit may have better suited us.
I believe installing the Eibach Prokit springs will give us the look we want (along with the handling of course).

...But the question is:
"If you install the Eibach Pro-kit on an SS with Bilstein (shocks) how much lower will the car be?"
...anyone?...

I was running H&R springs which are high quality springs that the Porsche guys like.........but the ride was WAY too stiff.......the variable rate built into them allowed the closer coils in the springs to already be fully collapsed under body weight (hey, no fat jokes). They did lower my car by at least 1 1/2"....yeah, I scrape all the time.......

I have since changed to Kenny Brown springs (made by Hyperco, but you can't buy them directly) and I still get 1 1/2"+ lowering, but a MUCH, MUCH improved ride and handling.......sure they cost a lot more (about $300.00 or so), but I'd never use anything else.......BTW, I've ridden in Eibach Pro sprung cars and I like mine a lot better....JMHO.

one comment/observation...

The SLP OE suspension setups were engineered as a package. Meaning, the parts were designed to work together, to compliment each other.

Not saying not to do it, just tossing out a point for consideration.
