I am here alone today. Grace is off to RI for the day and Dani is at camp. Hmmmm, what should I do.
Do you REALLY want somthing to do? I haven't gotten to do the spring cleaning yet. I need some trim painted. The sheetrock in the cellar needs to be finished. Cut the lawn. Cut some new trim peices for the sliding doors in the back, install, paint. Break for lunch. Now stack the 5 cord of firewood under the deck, pick up 5 tons of wood pellets at the stove place and haul them to the barn. Wash and Zaino the SS and the 442. Wash the truck and the Jeep, Zaino if you have time left.
Oh and tomorrow you can build a dock. Paint the living room and the bedrooms ( walls and ceiling), clean both wood stoves and chimneys, wallpaper the kitchen and both bathrooms, stain the stairs and railing, build a new bench in the workroom under the yaesu-847 ( ok you can try it out ) and don't forget to do a dump run
want more?

Got to sleep in a bit here this morning. This is going to be one of those sweet work days - sleep in, get to work late ... long lunch ... leave early to get to softball game.
That's funny, I don't think Thom even has a honey to make him do it. Oh wait, that is why they aren't done already!!
Thom, that sounds like one day, what will I do tomorrow!
LOL What do you mean make me do it?!?!? I thought "Honey" was supposed to "Do"! or is that why she left? Guess I'll just have to wait for Walmart to have a Honey sale, and go buy me a new one! Unless someone want to lend me one?
Tomorrow you sit in this chair so I can go fishing! ( no wonder nuthin gets done! )

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. The interview went very well I think. I was there almost 2.5 hours. They are looking for someone with exactly the experience I have, so this is looking very promising. It's a locally owned company that has seen tremendous growth in the past 5 years, but they seem to be doing it the right way and not getting ahead of themselves. I also think it would give me the opportunity to be exposed to and explore the directions I want to go with my career. The VP said that he was going to talk to the head of IT (who I also met with today) and the President and get back to me in a day or so. All in all, it would be a nice place to work, so everyone keep your wheels crossed
Oh, the head of IT thought one particular line at the end of my resume under "interests" was really cool: maintaining and modifying a 2000 Camaro SS.
