Just back from walking the dogs, found someone had smashed the window of the Lumina, busted out the dash and stolen the radio. Just enough to ruin a nice vacation day. Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000

What Lumina? You got a Lumina too? How many cars do you have! . Sorry to hear that Brian. That sucks. You have crime there?? Know a good insurance guy?
Have a great day everyone. I am going to wash, clay and Zaino a new Jag XK8 convertible today. It is a neighbor and friends car and he wants it to look like my cars! Hmmmm, a little side work in my driveway, maybe I can do a little more of this?
Enjoy!

That stinks Brian! You should put those giant dogs to work tracking down the perp, they'd make a meal out of him. Posts: 1296 | From: Saginaw, MI | Registered: May 2000

When I lived in Manhattan they stole the radio, then I left the hole there with a "no radio" sign but they kept breaking the window anyway, finally put a sign "door's open - please do not break glass"! Posts: 3403 | From: Woodcliff Lake, NJ, USA | Registered: Dec 2000

I usually leave my doors open for that very reason. The "Woody" doors are open and they went in, looked at the 8 track and then smashed the Lumina's window. My son had put a nice Clarion radio in it.
Oh, Dan right now we have 5, Jeep, Subby, SS, Woody and Lumina. The kids share the Lumina leaving the rest for Mary and I play with. Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000

No one wants to touch that 8-Track in the Woody. That Am/FM/ Quadasonic 8-Track is a antique! Kids now probably don't know what an 8-Track player is. Too bad one of your dogs (horses) did not hear that punk that stole the radio. I would not expect that in your nice neighborhood, but there are punks everywhere.Sorry to hear that you now have to fix the Lumina. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Howdy! I am so glad our cars are locked inside the garage.....I went through 4 stereos in a Honda Civic I used to own. They were all stolen in different towns. The insurance company kept insisting on replacing it. Each time it was stolen, it was replaced with the top of the line Pioneer Premier deck at the time. I gave up and sold the car.
Hawkeye - Sorry to hear about your car being broken into. Next radio you buy, get one with the detachable face-plate. It cannot stop them from using it, but is sure can stop them from using/reselling it!
Best of luck to you Hawkeye -BTW Do you know if Ken C. has set the date for Skyline yet?

What do you need all those cars for!! You only have a two car garage! That is a lot of cars, what were you thinking?
