I hade these made a few months ago, just now getting around to getting the pictures on line. I had some extra stainless steel laying around from my never ending rebiuld of the 70 Nova SS. I took the stock plastic door sill into work and had one of our model makers cut the steel and bend it to match the plastic part. Mary had the small plaques made that say 99 Camaro SS, SLP 3312. What do you think?

Another clever addition to your SS!

You might consider some clear protective plastic that you can take off at shows to keep them nice and shiny, and keep them from getting scuffed from the door rubbing on them, and when getting in & out of the car

Excellent Ralph, to Teri's idea - maybe some of that 3m chip gaurd plastic that you could peel off for shows.

Thanks Teri, NateSS, Helloween and Richard, Glad you like them. The panels are held in place with some small velcro strips. We remeve them and pop the plastic ones in when we are just taking the car for a drive. The plastic ones are held in place with push clips so they go on and off very quickly. On a side note, you all may want to remove these plastic panels and look under them, we had brown rust spots starting that I had to take care of. Just one more place water may hide when you wash the car or get hit with rain. Again thanks for the kind words.

I said the same thing in Ohio when I saw them. Looked great but how practical? Well as usual Ralph had the answer, on and off in a few seconds!

They really add that special touch to her car.
