Had a great day catfishing yesterday ... there were 3 of us, including the guide, in the boat I was in and we caught about 70 cats, of which close to half were master anglers.

Back after a couple days off. Took a trip up to Saskatoon for a small F-body meet organized by Curtis. Had a great time and it was nice to put some faces to our local board members. I'm now even more excited about BG and putting faces to this board's members. Now it's back to work. Posts: 428 | From: Winnipeg, MB, Canada | Registered: Oct 2001

This is not good, we keep having the people we thought for sure to be at BG, cancelling on attending...........not good. I feel sad for all those I know would like to attend but cant. I know you would all enjoy it greatly, however, I understand how things can happen and make it not feasable to attend.

All "catch and release". Catfishing on the Red River is a huge draw and Natural Resources has taken the steps necessary to keep it vibrant.
If any of you ever come up this way I'll be sure to treat you to a day of fishing.

Art, how did you know you weren't just catching the same fish over and over?
