ERin, I saw your car on EBay. How did that go? I'm going through the painful process of selling a car that I love as well. It's not a good market for sellers, thats for sure. I posted with a local Corvette Club site for my C4, kinda like your doing. I hope you find a good buyer, it's such a great looking car!!

19k!?!? . that is a very lowball price. let's hope you dont have to sell it for such a low figure. hope you get at least 25k for it. if i could afford it, i would snatch that car up in a second. good luck.

Whats killing you selling your car is the flames.... these cars are hard to sell normally, espically heading into winter. Finding the right person that "digs" the flames will just take longer....

Such a beautiful car Erin. I'm glad I got to see it (and you) in person in Carlisle for that short time. I guess really patience is the key. I'd try all sources of selling, not just one or two. If i was i your position, I'd list on ebay, autotrader, local newspapers, on other websites too..though this time of year it is going to be hard to sell... Lemme tell ya, if I was in the market to buy a SS I'd love to own yours. Since you are pretty close I'll put the word out around here and our newspaper i beleive as a free online listing that I could put something in there. I'll have to check that out for ya Good luck!

Erin, you've probably worked through this option already, but here are my $.032 Cdn.
This is a horrible time to sell a late model performance car ... start of winter ... zero-zero-zero available on remaining new ones ... unstable economy.
This would be a gamble too, but if you could find some bridge financing for the car or another asset that would allow you to hang on to the SS at least till spring, hopefully most of the new Camaros and Firebirds will be out of the system, zero-zero-zero may have ended, and folks should be looking for a summer performance cars. You might be able to do better in then, recovering finance charges (depending on what rate you can get) and maybe a couple of extra bucks.

glenn i would love to sell you my SS...im sure you would take great pride in owning it! the offer stands if your interested! but i wont take 19k for it either! im desperate but im not that desperate!
according to every dealer trade-in book i have at work says the car is worth $23320.00...so i didnt think it was unfair of me to ask 23k or b/o...considering i just sunk all that money into the paint and the other mods i did!
glenn u let me know!
p.s. if anyone is interested and needs to get financing ie: gmac or others let me know i might be able to swing the deal through my dealership and u would not have to pay cash for the whole thing!
