Well after being personally banned at SLP , months of waiting and the topic of much conversation, all of my product ideas sold through a site sponsor, www.afterthoughtsauto.com , are now finally 'Official Licensed GM Products'. So now you can feel free of guilt when ordering these items. The General is getting his piece of the action.
I'd like to thank all of those who are already customers of mine and of Afterthoughts Auto. I truly hope you're enjoying the enhancement they've made for your car. I've also really enjoyed working with Deanne. Her service to her customers and suppliers is top notch as many of you already know! I hope that you'll come back and take a look at some of the newer items at the site and make Afterthoughts Auto your first source for your performance and appearance mods. In the meantime, we'll keep coming up with cool stuff the factory forgot.
I'll announce the new products later once they're up on the site. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THEM!Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

Glad to hear Mark. I am a fan of your appearance items, as well as Deanne's service. Both of you are top notch. I had no doubt you'd make it through the process. Posts: 63 | From: Santa Clarita, Ca | Registered: Sep 2001

First let me offer you my congratulations on your accomplishment of getting your merchandise licensed. My personal opinion is that it is always great to see new items offered and available to people.
I also have to mention and in acting fair, bring up the comment regarding SLP. I think this was totally unnecessary. I understand you have had a few "rounds" with them.. but why would you use that in topic of conversation, especially on a "non-slp" board. Everyone always encourages positive and negative experiences when doing "business" with a company. We all want to know who stands behind their products the best, has the best shipping, and overall satisfaction... but this was strictly, in my honest opinion, a business-to-business related situation.
These are just my two cents.
Like I said though.. I know nothing about your fueds with SLP or how they were resolved.. as I didn't follow it.. perhaps this was just a stab at JeffY or Dave? Who knows..
Good luck with your products.. I look forward to seeing them.. and afterthoughtsauto is definately a great vendor to work with for sure!
Take care,
J.R.

Woa! The brief mention of SLP is just part of the whole story fellas. It wasn't a dig, I was banned because of it (the licensing issue) so a few words won't harm anyone and weren't meant to.
Thanks for all the kind words. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000

I e-mailed "after thoughts" about trying to obtain chrome pieces for under the hood, instead of just the polished pieces that are available.

Will we be seeing you again on the SLP Message Board again now that you are Legit?

That's doubtful. I used to like that forum a lot but it's just not the same anymore. I rarely visit since I'm not allowed to post anyway.

The new items are great but we may have to wait a bit longer. The new samples have been added to the agreement late so we have to wait for approval before we can put them up. Posts: 878 | From: Hoffman Estates, IL | Registered: Feb 2000
