Legendary Motorcars will be taking my SS to their shop this afternoon.
I'm still undecided, but I'll have to get serious about the paint scheme, now. I'm leaning towards the hood scoop painted red, with red hockey stick stripes on the sides. The painted area would be outlined with pinstripes.

I bet it will turn out sweet since that place probably is not the cheapest place to get a paint job. Take some pictures of the car on their trailer. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Are they doing a segment on Dream Car Garage of your car. It will look great, good luck. What is the base color (for the red accents to sit on)?

Actually, their hourly rate is less than the local GM dealers. However, they will be taking more time, so ultimately it will cost more.
I plan on following the total process will my camera, so it should be fun to watch the transformation.

Unfortunately, no TV show.
The SS is Onyx Black. Here's a link (scan down the replies) that includes a pic. of a black Berger 'Hot Rod' car with the red stripes.

That's great that they are cheaper than the GM dealer. Looks like you not have to worry about winter storage at your house. Take tons of pictures! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

A bonus. I get to put my Jeep in the garage (at least for a month, or so). It's never been garaged so I hope it survives. Posts: 2359 | From: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada | Registered: Jul 2001

Why not both? Sorry, but now J.R. is going to want it. What do you think he will say when he drives it. Hmmm, I'll let him drive it, then I'll show him how to drive it. I hope there is no snow on the ground!!
