My son & I were invited to attend a tour of the LMC facility with a group from one of the Dream Car Garage TV show sponsors. The LMC facility has been open for approx. 4 months and it's still spotless. I've posted a few of my tour pics, in the link below, focusing on the Camaro SS's in the building.

I spent some time with the LMC people, after the tour, deciding on the paint scheme for my SS. You'll have to wait to find out what it is [Big Grin] .

The next step will be to check out my SS prepped for painting, probably later this week. More pic's to follow.

Here's the pic link - http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?selected=116967

I'd tried to talk them into a even trade - my car for the '69 Motion 454 - but for some reason they wouldn't agree to it. [confused] [Big Grin]

The LMC gang are a great group of people. They're all car enthusiasts. My visit was only to last about a hour, but once we started talking cars we ended up being there for 2 1/2.

Wow,what a bunch of real nice cars there! The building front looks more like an office building than a body shop. You car looks right at home there! [Smile]

Yes, they seem to have done it up right. I couldn't believe how clean it was. The body shop is well designed with filtered blowers & exhaust fans to take away the dust, and there's an enclosed paint booth to prevent overspray. My SS had been there since Tuesday, and it had less dust on it than if it had been sitting in my garage. I was really impressed.

My boss used to live in Kansas and to help keep dust out of the houses ,he would run his furnace blower all of the time to pressurize the house. Maybe they pressurize that building also. [Smile]
