Jennifer's brother was hit by another car. When asked if he was wering a seatbelt he said no it does not fit. The police officer had her brother sit in the car and the seatbelt could not go all the way round his body.( mind you her brother is 6'5" 340 lbs.) He was not given a ticked for it did not fit. It is a law in Massachusets to use a seatbelt but what does he do?

Every manufacturer offers seat belt extenders just for this.

Go to the dealer and the parts guys can order it.

Seriously though, ...what Gordon said (previous post) I have heard of before.

That is correct....all manufacturers make seat belt extenders that are manufactured to meet all federal safety standards.

-- and, as you have all heard me say (until I'm purple) --Wear your seat belts.....we put 'em there for a reason...to save lives.
