On one of my trips to check out my SS at the paint shop, I was given a chance to get close to one of Michael Waltrip's 2002 stock cars. Apparently, a local car enthusiast (with way too much money) bought it as a hobby weekend racer. I was really impressed with the amount of engineering that went into the car and the quality of the workmanship.

[Cool] Is his plan to run it "as is" or will he redo it for himself. It would seem an waste to change any of it.

BTW ... It wouldn't be "way too much money" if it was mine [Wink]

Judging by the gas cap and breather location (right hand side), this must be one of the road track cars. The guys at the shop didn't know the details, but I'm assuming the owner will be running it at the local road courses - Mosport or Cayuga, or maybe Watkins Glen.
