I'll be in Portland Feb. 3, '02 on a business trip. Unfortunately, it looks like it will be a whirlwind trip down to Corvallis & back, so I won't have time to visit. I would have liked to stop in and see Steve's shop, but not this trip .

Even if you only have a few minutes, we'd love to meet up and say "hello". Let us know your schedule and we'll see if we can work in a quick visit somewhere.

Time warp! See, I'm not getting older, I'm getting a year younger (or am I getting forgetful)!
Thanks for the offer Teri & Nate. A couple of our other managers are tagging along with me on this trip, so I'll probably be tied up with them. We arrive around noon and have our first meeting scheduled at 2:00 PM, so it won't leave any time for visiting. We'll be in Oregon Monday through Wednesday and then off to California for the remainder of the week (I feel like Fbodfather ), so I'll see how it goes.

Well, hopefully either of you (or both) will be able to work out some sort of visit.
Corvallis, eh, John? That's about the time we'll be heading down there to our company's main office for our quarterly review.

Our facility is on Jack London St., across the road/tracks from Corvallis' major employer (other than the university).

Well, John or MM...if you do get any spare time in the Portland area, just give a call.
Steve's at the shop all day 8 am to 5 pm at 503-635-8252.
We can almost always arrange our schedule to hook up for a bite to eat and a short visit.

Would that other major employer be CH2MHill? Our company's office is a mile or so South of yours, near Avery Park. What a small world it is.

Yep no plans... I'll mark it on the calendar! So what gets you over this way? Your talking the Cracker Barrel in Boise by the Ameritel Inn? If the weather is nice I'll even take the SS out! Posts: 1045 | From: Seattle, WA | Registered: Nov 2001

I don't know what the Cracker Barrel is next to, but that's the reason we'll be in town. A group of us are driving over for lunch, dinner and then breakfast the next day. It's a good excuse to take a road trip.
