For those F-Body owners who wish to remove their factory EGR valve (1998-2000 models only) and air-pump assembly, SLP now offers this revised long-tube header package. These headers are functionally identical to their original tuned-length LS1 long tubes but lack the stock emissions-equipment provisions. Removing these items and their attendant hardware reduces weight, frees up under-hood space, minimizes the likelihood of exhaust leakage, stops annoying check-valve clicking, and makes for a cleaner appearance in the engine compartment. Our price for the headers/Y-pipe is $739.99. The installation kit is required along with either cats or offroad pipes to fill in the space between the headers/Y-pipe.

Is it safe to assume that custom programming is required to adjust for the missing EGR and AIR?

but its not required to be done right away. The 2 codes that they throw don't affect the vehicles performance... [Wink]
