That is a beautiful job.

Where do I place my order for a black one? [Big Grin]

Just thought of something...now any time you do a mod you're going to have to replicate in miniature, yes? [Eek!]

I picked up the Welly '02 SS coupe in Sebring Silver last week at Autobahn in Mississauga, Ont.
I was very impressed with the detail and quality!
Been waiting 4 years to find a good LS1 SS in silver!

Best regardSS,

Elie

Kev,
I have an extra 35LE that I want to make like mine. All I have to do is get the stripes off. I am debating how to get rid of the stripes. Should I paint red over them or try to remove them. any suggestons? I am also looking fo a car that has the ZR1 wheels on it. Does anybody know which one that would be?

I do need to chrome the wheels, your right. What's a good way?

You can't buy one you have to make it. Not hard to do though.

I think the easiest way to crome the wheels is just get chrome spray paint and possibly a clear spray over top of that. Not sure if the spray paint will get in all the nooks and crannies of that wheel though. [Cool]

Derek: Several of my Wellys came w/chrome wheels, including the 35th LE. On our way back from the Puyallup, WA swap meet, we stopped at the Kay-Bee Toy Liquidators factory outlet in Centralia, WA yesterday. There were a few Black ones and a Navy Blue one. We left a few on the shelf.

Keep looking....not all of the Wellys have LE wheels.

Not all 35th LE's have the LE wheels either! LOL! Must be a quality control thing at Welly.

Right, my LE Welly came with chromies.

Here are all of the Welly Die-cast SS's that I have so far:

As you can see, they're inconsistent with the wheel style & box.

I already have a couple, but thank you. We picked up a black one for Cy this past weekend when we were at the Kay-Bee outlet in Centralia, WA. That was the most abundant color in the store, and we left several on the shelves.
