Just saw on the news about some police chase in Texas in which the person getting away in a Trans Am!! Poor car..it ended with the police ramming the car down a grassy hill until the car got stuck. Poor poor car...shouldn't have been put through such misery!!

Also a friend came across these pics on webshots. Looks like an SS that was in NY during 9/11. Looks like it's real. Poor car!!!

I looked at the first pic and knew whose car that was.

Rich, I am still amazed at the cleanup job you did. Truely amazing.

If I recall, didnt you say they totalled the other cars in that garage you were in?

I remember when you first posted the pics, Rich. I didn't realize that was the same car you brought to Bowling Green. Like Chris said, you did an awesome job cleaning it up and bringing it back to showroom shape. [Smile]

Thanks all.

Me and the SS have been through our share, and you're right Teri, it is really special to me because of how hard I had to work to get it back from "there".

Chris is correct in saying that they couldn't clean most of the cars in that garage, and totaled them. With a great deal of patience (and many innovative vacuum attachments) I was able to save mine.

Not to get all sappy on you, but you guys are what makes this car as special as it is to me, and why I worked so hard to retrieve it and then clean it.

Thanks!

Seeing the car up close last year I could not tell that it had been through what it had. Richard did such a great job cleaning it after bringing it home. Way to go man!

Actually the parking attendants at the garage do that. I have to tell you, when I finally got it out of there, the only kicking these feet were doing was in the air as I was jumping for joy! [Big Grin]

I can't say it enough though - you guys were so great then, have been all along, and are now. I can't tell how much it means to me! [Smile]
