Scott,
Once the weather turns, I'll finally be getting around to fixing my car from the Bowling Green incident. I thought it'd be cool if I could get it painted with the actual brand of paint/clear the factory used.

Do you have any idea what brand they would have used on a high-numbered 2001?

And any idea if SLP actually used the same?

Thanks,
Cy

SLP used PPG. I think GM may have used DuPont, but I'm not sure.

Interesting.... http://www.spiesheckerusa.com brings up a page for DuPont Performance Coatings and is cross referenced here.

Spies was bought by DuPont a few years ago. Most of the small/specialty paint companies were swallowed up by one of the bigger fishes.
