Blah!! I'm a little antsy today since someone else has my car! [Frown]

It will be 3 years old in a week so I wanted to get it in and get some warranty items taken care of.

Squeaky clutch pedal - clutch return spring is broken or breaking.

Rubber seal on the edge of the rear hatch where the convertible top meets the hatch would always fall off. I never put any glue on it because I wanted it replaced.

Steering wheel cover has some unusual peeling at the 7 O'clock position. It's not wear because I never put my hand there. It's right at the one of the seams in the cover.

The little pads on the convertible latches were never glued on right from the factory and would fall off when it got hot inside the car. They need to be replaced.

I didn't even mention the rotors being warped again since I don't want to deal with it. I'm going to replace them and the pads myself soon.

That's it - not bad at all I guess for 30,000 miles. The only other problem I ever have had with it is the rotors warping at 11,000 miles.

Whoever said you couldn't run away from your problems obviously wasn't driving an SS.

Those are all minor concerns. Just be glad your car did not have any major engine work under warranty. Even the BMW's and Lexus' have concerns.I really hate to bring my car to the dealer for warranty work.If I can fix it myself,I feel that I am further ahead even if it cost me money. Less chance of damage! [Smile]

I think every vert owner has had those latch pads fall off at one time or another. Glad it all sounds like minor stuff. [Smile]

While I was in the dealership, I noticed they had two Camaros still on the lot, one a red V6 and the other a blue Z28 convertible. The Z was the "Manager's Special" and had $5000 off the sticker.

Had 4 Vettes in there too. Two were convertibles that were 56,000. One of those was a 50th car that had an additional 10,000 markup! [Eek!] The other 2 were Z06's and they were around 52,000. I'd take the Z06...well if I was lookin for a Vette that is. [Big Grin]

Hey that sounds like a list from my car (minus the clutch spring)!

Hope it goes well.
