My buddy is looking at a camaro, but the owner says that the engine is not orginal. I think it is, but the owner is not the original owner. It has had some engine work done to it in the past. Is there a website that I can punch in the engine code and see the vin that it belongs to? Or tell me if it is infact the original engine? Thanks all

Is it an older Camaro? Usually on the older engines, the last 5 digits of the VIN will be the last 5 digits of the serial # on the engine block anlong with some 3 letter code. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
