As we all prepare to ready ourselves for the Skyline Drive, the camaraderie, the cars, the food and drink - my thoughts turn to those who have made this possible.
None other than our resident keRm, Mr. Ken Collings and his dear wife Mary.
Ken has been instrumental from the outset with his willingness to volunteer his time and efforts whenever needed. Most of you are familiar with Ken from the message boards wherever F body language is spoken he's always been there to answer a question - from Zaino to tires, from graphics to camshafts, if he doesn't know, he knows someone who does.
There is another side to this human being. He is also deeply concerned with the natural wolf population and what man has done to these poor creatures and their natural habitat. This is a cause that is near and dear to his heart as many of you know. He volunteers his time and efforts to support a project at Full Moon Farms Inc. that takes in abandoned, injured and otherwise neglected wolves and wolf hybrids. It is strictly volunteer work and run on shoe string budget.
I would like to propose that in honor of Ken and Mary that this year's Skyline Drive be dedicated to Full Moon Farm. I would ask that each person participating in the event make a voluntary contribution to the "cause" when we gather in the parking lot to head up to the Big Meadow on Saturday morning May 31. While Ken is collecting the entrance fee for the park I would like to visit each and every one who is there and ask for a contribution in their honor for Full Moon Farm. The amount doesn't matter. $1, $5, $10, $20 anything at all would be appreciated. As individuals it doesn't seem like much, but the power of our group is awesome. I know that Ken would appreciate it, and in a way, when we head up to enjoy nature in the mountains, it would be nice to know that we have all contributed in preserving what God has given us.
Hope to see all of you there.

I won't be able to go this time, but one of these days I would like to attend one. I've been to Skyline before and it's beautiful. I've also seen lots of pics from previous gatherings and it looks like everyone has alot of fun.
