That one looks very similar to our '69 RS that's for sale. It's not a COPO, but it's definitely a smaller hit on the pocketbook.
This RS COPO was one that a friend of mine's friend restored. I have no clue who owns it.He also restored my friends 1968 convertible and did a fine job.

OK....I'm very confused at this moment...That buternut car is not a RS....But sure could be a Berger COPO....But...The very first post with that fathom green 69RS that was being restored? I was under the impression that COPO's were not RS's...Looks like a VERY sweet Berger RS...but you lost me on the COPO part....

The orginal pictures of the Green COPO I posted was restored by the same guy who restored the Butternut 1968 convertible.Sorry for the confusion.I just wanted to show the quality of work that Nyle Wing does. The 1968 convertible is no COPO,just a Plain Jane 327 convertible. Mmmmm.........Butternut Yellow. One of my faves. Steve's '66 El Camino and our Vintage, '55 Terry travel trailer will be painted that color when it gets finished (a loooong way off).

That seems to have been a very popular color in 1967 and 1968.It is easy on the eyes and since there is no metallic in it,easier to spray. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002
