ok i have received an offer for my SS today for 19000.00...should i take it or not???????

what would u guys do.....i have been trying to sell it for so long and this is better then the 17k i was offered last summer.........

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i guess in my current situation that i really need to get rid of it so i can help my mom pay for her new house mortgage. and this would relieve alot of money every month but i dont want to take a low ball price for it either.

That price is low. I did a www.kbb.com price on a privte party selling price and it came up with $23,870 I did not know how many miles it had so I put 20,000 and I put t tops. It would be more it it is a convetable. Plus the special paint and the new exhaust. Ithink that price is very low.

Erin,
Economically, $1000 or even $2000 less than you want is easily recovered by savings realized on insurance and interest rates on an outstanding loan.

BUT, $20,000 for an 02 SS is too low!!

I guess, only you can be the final judge on what your finances can handle. Gotta be a tough decision for you. Best of luck,

Regards,
Mary

that price does seem a little low. but if you are in a money crunch, then you may have to go for it. because you know the dealer will give u a lower price than that for it. good luck. how much do you owe on it?

Any car is only worth what someone will pay ,not knowing what the miles are on your car or the condition ( I would guess its in Great Shape ) its tough to say , but even tuffer is the need you have to sell it . You could ask for more but you may not be able to move it . I guess what I am saying is YOU and YOU only can make that decision . From my end 19,000 is low for a 2002 but remember theres alot of used Camaros out there. Good luck on what you end up doing [Wink]

Chuck my car was at dinner the other night....my car has 15800 miles on it and is kept under a car cover for the complete winter months and only is driven around to car events now that i have the custom paint on it. I have been trying to sell it since i went to BG last year and no luck with it. I really cant afford 861.00 a month for 1 car. Plus i am paying 532.00 for the other car a month between the car payt and the insurance. a girl last yr offered me 17k for it and that was WAY WAY WAY too low. But i am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am gonna see what happens at the shows this weekend and see if i get any buyers for it. It breaks my heart to sell her but i just cant do it with a huge house payt coming up soon...... moving to a new house and all with mom and i will have to chip in every month for her bills for it......so thats is weighing in hard also! what to do what to do.......

the car will be gone by then, i have to take delivery of the Monte by weds the 30th. So i guess if nobody shows interest in it this weekend then i have no chance of getting more for the car. i am on a tight time limit and cant budge on it!

Even though i wont have the SS anymore i will still keep on up here becuase b4 BG i will get another camaro. it wont be a SS but it will be a camaro i promise that!

im thinking of a 92 Camaro Z28. i like the old body style even though they are slower i appreciate the cars design. So ill keep u updated on the situation!!!!
