Over the past several months I have been a Pain in the A** for some with all of my questions and changes of mind . Well it's over I just ordered a 2500HD today. Faxed it into GM earlier and if GINO stays away there won't be any problems.
Just want to say THANKS to ALL for the help

Kick butt! Once I get the SS paid for, that's my next purchase as well. Way to go.

Congrats, I had a 2002 Silverado 2500HD with 8.1...great truck, BUT: I recommend you DONT USE A BUG SHIELD....I read a couple of articles advising that they result in a rattling/rain drops hitting the windshield sound...Disregarding this, I put a BugVisor on, and sure enough, it sounded like rain hitting the roof all the time until I took the shield off...Good Luck! Regards, Fellow SS Fan

Haven't used a bug shield in a long time. When I had my 97 I bought one to put on and didn't like the clearence of the hood and grill.Never bothered with them again. I do hoever put on the vent visors on all vehicles that I can. Great in the summer when you can crack the window and let the heat escape .

Nice truck indeed. I also use the vent shields on my Suburban. Have you considered using the clear tape bug shield/bra. I do it to my SS and it works!

The wife had a truck home for a day or 2 with the XM radio. She liked it. I just could not see paying for the option and then a monthly charge for the use of it. Its like the OnStar you get for a year /after the year the use does not equil the cost for me.
The Carlo SS sounds like a sweet one Posts: 3091 | From: Canton Mi. | Registered: Oct 2002
