The reason I am asking this is last year when I was at Camaro Superfest I noticed a few cars from Pennsylvania that were silver but had the 35th Anniversary Badging under the hood and different plaques stating that they were 35th Anniversary models. I am just curious to know?

All 02's are 35th anniversary cars - just the Limited Edition ones have to be red. Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000

You can buy the stripes in different colors which look good on a lot of cars. The badges can easily be ordered from the dealer. In my opinion you can do what you want but if you put the stripes on a Red SS or put the 35TH badges on you are a Poser.

Ken, You may know this (probably do, ...but just in case). 35th Ann. LE cars ...Red (silver stripes of course) Brickyard cars ...Silver (colorful side graphics)
If someone is talking about "LE" cars, ...one 'could' claim that the 35th Ann. "LE" cars are what they are talking about, ...yet it is easy to see where one might be talking about 'LE' (Limited Edition), ...and include both the Anniversary AND Brickyard cars in the same bucket...???

And a good friend of mines 35th Anniversary Z7D Brickyard 400. 2002 was the only model year that 2 different Brickyard 400's were produced.
