That was my son, in his 2002 Z28. It was raining on Saturday while we were auto-Xing. We both need better tires. He was sliding around a 180* turn from the rain, coming out wide, leading into the slalom and had to do alot of correcting and really started sliding all over the place trying to correct. He took out ALOT of cones, some probably just for fun. He is proud of his new title "Cone Killer King". He did win a trophy for best interior for the car show part and I won best 4th gen f-body, another guy in our club won best sound system and another won 2 trophies in auto-X. Five trophies in a single club, we were happy.

I also ran the road course too. Great fun!!! I had my son's GF in a ride along. We came out of the long straight doing 120 mph and my braking was about 2 mph over the ability of the tires to hold the pavement. I'd been running as aggressive as a newbie can. Anyway at about 70 mph in the curve the rear slid out and I did a very quick 180* doing about 60 mph backwards along the pavement and into the grass. It only dirtied up the tires, nothing a little Z-16 couldn't fix.

It was really a great time for anyone considering going next year.
