Nice pics great meeting you. Too bad for the Red SS I can still feel the pain He was coming back from Skyline and was going straight when a 77 year old lady made a left right in to his left front bumper Posts: 248 | From: Montgomery Village,MD | Registered: Aug 2000

Yea, the red SS was a bummer. I don't think he is on this board. His name is Andy. He lives in Mass or Conn. He went to Kmart and was sitting there and the lady hit him. Hit him hard enough to turn him around 360!! We were all feeling terrible for the poor guy. But, all 3 of them had seatblets on!!! . The car took all the impact and they are fine. The Fbod will be sad to see one of his kids hurt like that but will be proud that young folks were smart enough to have the belts on and the car did what it was supposed to. One of life's ironies. We were a bit spirited going up Skyline, but I was impressed with the how careful and well within safe limits everyone was. Then we get back and he gets hit while stopped!
I gave him my card and told him if he needed anything from all the rest of his f-bod family, he could call me and I would let all the gang know.
I also asked if he wanted me to drive him home, he didn't think his two friends would want to ride in the back of the Z06!!

That's really bad that had to happen. At least no one was hurt though.

Sorry I didn't get to see you...I made it out for the Sunday cruise only to find you bugged out early! Hope you had a safe (albeit rainy) drive home in the Z.

Great pictures Dan. Again this year, I had the only SOM SS. Last year, it was just me an a SOM Hawk. This year, Bo had his SOM Hawk there also. So that's like a 33.3% jump in 1 year! Posts: 641 | From: northern Delaware | Registered: Jul 2002
