Being unemployed has one advantage...I had too much time on my hands and was very bored.I started looking around different dealers for something to do.I ended up buying a 2000 GMC Sonoma extended cap, sportside bed 2 weeks ago.It did not have some of the options I wanted like power windows, locks, leather wrapped steering wheel. The price was great and this truckhas the factory lowered Bilstein suspension on it.RPO ZQ8 with 16X8 factory wheels and huge front and rear sway bars.I ended up going to a couple of junkyards and got the factory power window regulators, latch assemblies with the power door lock actuators, door panels and switches.I had to make a crossover wiring harness for the dash. I installed a brand new Lincoln Town Car Driver Door Module I had from my old job to add the keyless entry to the power lock circuit.I even saw that there was no visor mirror for the wife,so I added a factory lighted visor mirror. To top it off I added a factory leather wrapped steering wheel and fog lights that are wired into the factory headlight switch wiring.I did stay busy while I was off work.Price was below NADA trade in value. So what do I do with the Berger Ranger now? Cool truck! I miss my xtreme a little after seeing those pictures. Those trucks with the ZQ8 handle almost as good as a camaro! I do think you have WAY to much time on your hands... we need to find you a job! [Smile]

This truck does handle great. The front and rear sway bars are about as big as the ones on my SS.Kinda nice to have the Bilstein shocks too! The ZQ8 package lowers the truck almost 2" from the stock 2WD ride height. The wheels are the same wheels that the later 3rd Gen Camaro RS or Z28's had with just a different center cap. [Smile]

Hawkeye had told me all about it. Very [Cool]

I'd love to drop the SS and a wad of cash at your place with simple instructions "Surprise Me". I'm sure I'd love it [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
