I don't know what I could be doing wrong as I followed Teri's instructions step by step she gave to SuperSport. Unfortunately all I get is a red x all the time.

Usually, most times, the photo or image needs to to be posted somewhere else, "webshots", "cardomain", etc, then click on the pic. then click on properties, then click copy, then paste to the URL in Avatar, hope this helps, if not, drop me some mail, and i'll see what i can do, but Teri would be able to help more.

Been meaning to join, Like figuring how to get my account at work set up so I can hotlink also. We are given 1M of storage and like always not enough time to figure out how to do it . One of these days you'll see a new avatar But for now I still resemble the mug to the left (but a LOT more Handsome )

I just went through the steps and it worked just fine.
Copy the pic, upload it somewhere and go into your profile and enter the new URL for it. Remember to "select a different avatar", enter the URL, "Use this Avatar" and save your profile.

Ken, go ahead and right click the avatar, save it to your computer, then upload it to whatever server will be hosting it. Then go back into your profile and change the URL to the new one, set it, & save your profile. If you have trouble, post the URL of where it's hoted and I'll help you out.

Thank you John. All of us worked great together to help get this baby up. I am very happy.
Thank you Ed. I really appreciate your reply my friend. If you wish to make an avatar you can go to www.flamingtext.com and you can make an assortment of different types.
Thank you Teri for your suggestion and offering to help if I have any problems. I will try cardomain next and see if there is a hyperlink from there. If I have any problems I know I can count on you for help.
