There is an '00 SS for sale in the local paper.

Claims to be one of 12 special editions made by
SLP for the 2000 model year with 430 HP. Pewter
with all options. Asking $29,000 CDN.

Did SLP do any special runs in 2000 that I've never heard of?

I believe only special Dealerships such as Berger or Hendrick make specialty vehicles such as a 430 HP SS. I never heard of SLP doing such a car.

The only "special edition" that SLP (specfically)has done recently (that I can think of), is the '97 LT4 30th Anniversary SS and '97 Firehawk. If I'm not mistaken, both of these were done in Montreal at Zeke's and had 330 HP, rather than 430 HP.
