measured my posters & they are sort of an odd size....20 x 26; the frames i found at michael's are 20 x 28, 22 x 28, or 18 x 24; what did y'all do? put a mat underneath?? trim some off (God forbid!)? i priced custom frames, but they run anywhere from $60 - $85!!!! any suggestions? thanx!!

Ive got custom frames here.... I usually wait until they have a sale like 50% off. Framing is way overpriced... IMHO.

I have purchased frames 20 X 26 with a white background and then carefully taped the poster to it. Then put it all together and hang it. Looks very chic. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

If you are talking about the plastic poster frames, you can always cut them down... that is what I did for mine. If done right, you can't tell.

I just buy the cheapo ones from Meijer or Walmart and put the poster over the black paper that comes in them to fill the edges.

great suggestions! thanks! i'll probly try the black paper with a black frame; it's pitiful to spend several times the cost of a poster on a frame!
