Looks like quite the custom engine bay. Not only is the intake custom, there are new fuel rails and quite a few other changes. I don't like the way the intake cuts into the cowling under the windshield. Haven't seen anything like it though. I wonder why they would have gotten rid of the long runners that are stock on the Z28 and SS Camaros as well as the Corvettes?

Let me know if you find out anything, but I doubt anything like that will end up on my SS.

Interesting....It's an LS1, but kinda looks like an older L98 Vette type intake and the TB is not round, like on the LS1, looks more like the Holley on my LT1, which would explain the TB...
Didn't think the older L98/LT1 intake would mate up to the LS1....Its differant tho.. [Confused]

Thats the UAW Number 6 Camaro that they was launched for the Dream Cruise last year. It was at Bowling Green for those that were there, in Atlanta this year for G7 and various other shows.

I really dig the setup in the engine compartment. I wonder what kind of HP that baby puts out?

The pics are excellent too. [Big Grin]

I'm suprised that it appears to be a cast manifold rather than sheet metal. Almost as if it were a prototype for an after market part. I can't imagine they'd sell many with your having to hack up the fire wall.

Also noticed, no wipers!!

Long runners are more suited to low rpm horsepower and torque. While short runners are more suited to high rpm horsepower and torque. And I'll bet the red line is near 7500rpm?

I also love those fenders, I have IMSA flares on my 84, and have never seen another one like it.
