Bowling Green is around the corner and I thought that I would see if anybody going needs any to complete a set or needs a set. I will see what I can do for you. As of now it looks like I can get all but, as time gets closer I might not be able to get some that are out of stock.
If you are intrested post and send me an email of what you want.

I need the 2002 from the 35th Anniversary collection Ed. I won't be going to BG, but it shouldn't cost me to much to have you mail it to me up in Saginaw (if you can find one that is).

Hello Ed, I need the 1st series. I've got a fractured set without the LE vert. Thanks for thinking about all of us. See you in BG. BTW, I have extras from the 2nd series if you need those.

I wish they had a version with the IROC-Z. Trying to find anything on these cars is very hard and they were produced from 1985 to 1990.
Anyone know if anything was made as a collectable for these cars? Preferably the 1986 Camaro Z28 IROC-Z as that is my other car.

Thanks Ed, as i see from the list, nothing as far as a 96/97 goes, it does not have to be a vert, but would be nice, if you happen to run across any of these.....
SS RS Z....I'll keep my eyes open for an IROC for you, not sure, but i think i ran across a 1/25 scale model of one in a local hobby store, i can recheck if your interested...

ss_rs_z there is a snaptite that is available at most hobby shops. It is made by revell monogram. It is a 86 to 89, I cant remember for sure. It has a scoop on the hood that can be removed and filled in with white puddy if you have the time. Snap tites are usually not as well detailed as other models, because they are aimed at newcomers just starting, but if patent, it can look just as good as any other model. My 2 cents from working in a shop for 4 years and building models for 15 years.

Thanks Bad and yes I am very interested. I remember one time and I can't reemmberthe scale but it was a huge model that came out by Revell back in the 80's. I wish I had picked that up when I had the chance. Thanks for the help.
Woody I am definately going to check the hobby store. Snaptite is fine and I appreciate you letting me know this. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Here's a suggestion: Bring a plastic tote of the die-cast cars you have available for sale or trade. If we have room in the car, I'll be doing the same. We'll get into a swap session at the hotel on SSOA Thursday and throughout the weekend.

Teri I don't have any to swap. I thought I would try to help anybody that needs any to complete a set since I have a place to get them now. Later on their might not be enough time if they have to be ordered. Was trying to save on shipping.
Anybody that has any to swap could also post them here .
Hookerf14 mentioned that he had some extra from set #2 don't know if it is a full set.
I was thinking of taking this topic to the BG section (friday) to keep it near the top to remind people What do you think .

I always just try to buy whatever I can find on the shelf at the time, because by the time I get on the board to see who wants it, it's gone when I go back.
I have many extras of some stuff, and only one or two of others. It's my plan to display at least one and use the others for swapping through the years when new ones aren't out there.
If you can afford to buy what you see, I can bet you'll be able to find someone to buy it in the future. I'll most likely take many of the 1st Gen, especially '67 & '68 off your hands and just might have something you haven't seen and would like to get ahold of. Most of the time I can't remember what I already have, so I just keep buying and when I get the chance to inventory it all, will have lots of extras for others to enjoy.

Teri if I bought All that I saw it would get me tossed out of the house. This store deals in JL and Hot wheels plus the 1/18 scale only. I could load up a cargo van full with 1 each of GM cars and trucks they have in stock.
Been looking at this Camaro for awhile what does everyone think .

The situation would have been the same for me if I hadn't married Steve. You are preaching to the choir here. Half of our spare bedroom is floor to ceiling filled with cases of cars. Thank goodness we both have the same sickness.
VERY cool. A bit spendy, but would be a nice compliment to the painted Sunoco series.

I just don't want to inconvenience you by comingover too late Ed. I didn't get off of work until 6:45 last night and after working in this heat and humidity I needed to get home and shower. By that time when all was said and done it was 8:00 so that would have been a little late. I will try and hook up soon. Posts: 2841 | From: Westland, MI | Registered: Apr 2003

Who wants to give me $2500 for a signed Jim Epler 1/24 35th Anniversary SS Funny Car made by Ertel. This car is the replica of the Funny Car used at the 2002 US Nationals at Indianapolis. The orginal funny car body was used at the US Nationals only. The Die Cast was offer for sale by order only, but they never went into full production. I have of the 2 signed Camaros that I know of.

I didn't know they made a truck and trailer for the legends tour 35th. I have the 1993 Pace car truck and trailer. I will check Camaro Superfest and see if they have one and let you know.
