I am wondering if any of you have it listed on the fenderwall of your 35th Anniversary LE's listing the usage of Mobile 1 Synthetic 5W-30 motor oil?

I happened to notice on a members website that it was listed on hers. Just curious as to know. [Big Grin]

Only the Mobil Emblem from a vette that I put there!

The part number for the Mobil 1 oil cap is 12555685.
The part number for the Mobil 1 decal is 10236268.

Thanks for letting me know 67. I was just curious if there was a change later on and the decal was added as I had picked up my car in November of 2001. I appreciate it. [Big Grin]

At the Ontario Camaro Nationals last weekend, I talked to a guy who works on the line where the LS1 & LS6 engines are built. LS1 engines are filled with regular oil and LS6 engines are filled with Mobile 1. I refilled mine with Mobile 1 at first oil change. I also installed Mobile 1 cap and applique. I placed the applique under the hood at the back so it can easily be seen when hood is opened.

By the way, the guy who works at the assembly plant is a Camaro owner and he told me that there is no difference between the LS1 and LS6 blocks. The only difference between the two engines is the intake, heads, cam and the control by the engine computers. Since he helps build the engines, I'm inclined to believe him.

When my brother went down to Bowling Green to pick up his 50th Anniversary Corvette the gentleman showing him around took him over to the engines and asked him if he could tell the difference. He basically couldn't but as you said there are subtle changes here and there along with a different MAF sensor which makes it breathe a little easier and adds a few more ponies. [Big Grin]

At some point during the 01 model year LS1 camaro's had factory fill mobil 1. There was a bulletin stating such.... (it was around september of the 01 model run I think). No F-body ever came from the factory with a mobil 1 decal or oil cap.... it is a popular mod by many to add them.... On my car I just added the oil cap, I personally think the decal plate is tacky... I don't need to advertise for mobil 1 plus I'm from the school less is more and I like less clutter.... stickers... etc.
