My boss called me into his office this morning.I was thinking "now what did I do wrong?" He presented me with a Ford Motor Company certificate of recognition for the new job I just started with air bag systems. I was floored. I told him that I was just doing my job and nothing else.To top it off Ford will be sending me a $50 gift certificate. How cool is that? For over 5 1/2 years working for Visteon, they never did anything like that for me!

Remember that I have the same Ford boss as I did before, and I had 120 hours of vacation I never used up and will get another 120 hours in September. Weird concept...getting rewarded for doing what I was hired for in the 1st place. Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

Congrats! It's always nice to be noticed, even though most of us are humble and think we're just doing what anyone else would do. Wish more companies were like that.

Thanks everyone. From what my boss said he can only issue out 3 of these certificates each year and limit them to 2 certificates per person per year.
