Some of you may remember the thread which appeared here a few months ago, with me lamenting the fact that F-bodies had been excluded from the list of invitees for this excellent event at the engine plant in St. Catherines, Ontario (which builds the LS1/LS6, LM4 and the new HFV6 for the Caddy CTS.

I am happy to announce that we (TFbM) have just received a specific invitation from the plant to
participate in this year's event, which again will involve a tour of the plant, Show 'n Shine and other stuff (as was done last year). The show is on Thursday August 14th. from 12:00 pm. until 7:00 pm. Along with the plant tour and show, there will be a BBQ, and Vendors (the same as last year), music (DJ not a live band), dunk tank and more.
There is no entry fee and the rules for the tour are the same as last year -
2 people per registered vehicle and appropriate footwear, no sandals, open toed shoes or high heels. Safety glasses will be supplied.
Those who participated last year had a great time, and the tour was extremely informative - all done in a very relaxed, low-key atmosphere. Ron Fellows was the guest of honor, although I understand he will not be available this year. As
well, there were some really great bargains to be had there on GM "wearables"!
I would not be surprised if a certain "Father", who holds F-bods near & dear to his heart was at the root of this change in heart! [Cool] Thank you!
In any event, if there is anyone in the Toronto/upstate N.Y. area (or who feels that they are within a reasonable drive of St. Catherines (about 2/3 of the way to Buffalo from Toronto)and would like to register to participate in this event, please send me a private e-mail garfin@ca.inter.net
and include your name, address, tel#, year, color & vehicle and the name of your passenger, if you are bringing a guest. This is not a closed event, and there will be a couple of Corvette clubs represented as well. Here's another chance to show GM the level of enthusiasm and loyalty that is harbored within so many F-body enthusasts!

Best regardSS,

Elie
