Ok.. With a few dollars burning my pocket up, I am looking to do something for/to the SS. Was thinking Lid, and exhaust. Here are my options.
#1. Loud Mouth.
#2. Keep my flowmaster and get Center Mount Exhaust (tips and rear air dam).

Opinions? Pro's? Cons?

That is a real personal thing. I'm partial to
Borla exhaust [Big Grin] However the loudmouth is a
real close second and much less $$.

I'm old fashioned and prefer the look of the old
style dual exhaust, so center mount would not
be high on my mod list. But..... that's me!

Do what you want, and it'll fine.

I don't have the loudmouth but I do have the center mount exhaust. When I saw the pic of it before I ordered my car I said that was what I wanted as I like to be different. I think it gives the car a distinctive look, otherwise had I known about the dual/dual exhaust I would have purchased it. Just my 2 cents worth. [Big Grin]

I love the sound of a GMMG Chambered Exhaust. Not a loud as a Loudmouth but louder than a Dual Dual or Center Mount Exhaust. This will be my next mod someday. [Cool]

...and get a ride in a car similar to yours ...body type, transmission and rear gears to see how it sounds at speeds you typically cruise at. Some sweet sounding exhausts can be very irritating under certain conditions.

I've adapted a Spintech ProShootout 4441 (tiny @ 4" x 6" x 12") with a single concealed outlet to my original dual-dual and am very pleased with it.

As you can see in my sig,I have the GMMG chamber and FLP headers. It has a nice low rumble. I love the sound of it. With the ORP on though it's pretty loud. The cats quite it down a lot.

I love my Loud Mouth! And if you do get it, I highly reccomend getting the Y-pipe as well...makes the sound a deeper adn more muscular sound to it. You'll definitely notice the difference with the lid and exhaust on there.

If you need some sound clips, I'll see what I can do. Good luck! [Cool]
