I am currently using this to tune my car.. I have done heads/cam/intake/headers and use downloadable custom tunes from Diablo to tune my car. It all depends on what you have done to your car and what you need to do..
The predator through custom tunes can get rid of and P code in the computer (e.g. AIR and EGR).
Although you personally cannot change every variable to do with your cars computer the guys/gals at Diablo can and then you download their custom tune specifically for your vehicle and then you can adjust your fuel and spark + or - 10% depending on your conditions.
I am not sure if what I said really makes any sense.. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about this.. knops@src.sk.ca

I see our cars are twins. What number is yours?

On the Predator, I am ordering one tomorrow. I have done 2 days worth of reading and even downloaded the manual. I think that this beats the HPP3 hands down due the the simple fact it is basically a TechII as well as a tuner.

Im sure i will need many tips on getting the perfect tune.
All i have done so far is add a K&N filter to it. I am going to the dealership tomorrow to have them reflash the pcm incase the fool that owned it before me still has the HPP3 prog in it. I saw a sticker in the glovebox when i bought it and im not sure if he took it out.

Thanks! I'm sure i will come up with some questions about it.

Did you consider LS1 Edit. You can do a lot with it.

I did, but to be honest, I dont think i will be modding so much that i will need it. I will be sticking with exhaust, lid, maybe y-pipe and headers, but i doubt it. I am not going to go too far overboard.
I basically want a nice sound and great looks.. Im not going to go above 400hp simply because i dont want to have to mess with Rear end or Trans..

The reason im going with PREDATOR and not HPP3 is the simple fact of the TECHII abilities. (or close to it anyway)
