Good Morning all. Well my 3 day weekend didn't start out too well because of the massive power failure. Power came back on around 1:00pm but as of this writing there are still 500,000 without power. I won't be attending the Dream Cruise because of the situation and unknown conditions in the area. Nothing has been said if power has been restored there. Oh well there is always the TV to watch the cruise on.
Have a great day and weekend all.

Have to work a few hours, then I'll be able to play with the SS for the afternoon. Posts: 5558 | From: Windsor, Ontario. Canada | Registered: Feb 2000

We've been fortunate having no power interruptions since the lights came back on early yesterday. Some folks in the area are since without power, so the local electrical providers are alternating power outages to give all areas power for at least two hours at a time. It is really scarey how dependent we are on electricity.
The good news - 33 days 'til SSOA Thursday @ BG.

Good day to all. We were lucky not to have lost power for more than a few minutes on Thursday. A few miles north of us are not so lucky. Have a great dall and keep it safe.

Had the most incredible thunder storm from 5h30 to about 7h00,the house shook HARD 3 times all the plates and glasses moved 2 inches in the cupboard. The thunder was rolling you could hear and feel it for 10-15 seconds, very very impressive.
Sun is out now and looks like a great weekend ahead!!!

If you have checked out the WEBCAM today, I have been out in the garage cleaning the SS. BIG Cruise-In tonight here in Evansville. There will be about 300-400 cars out there tonight. This is the big cruise before the FROG FOLLIES comes to town. The T-Tops will be out since the weather will be nice! If I remember to take my camera, I will post some photos.
Check out the WEBCAM and see how far I have gotten.
P.S. i know some folks have had a hard time viewing the cam, so i have changed the format the cam broadcasts in. It now broadcasts in "Flash".

Hahaha.. I have more fun with peoples response to the webcam!...
I am looking into buying a couple more and put one in each corner..
I would put up a "Hot Tub" cam, but I don't know how well that would go over.. lol Posts: 311 | From: Evansville, IN #M99-0891 | Registered: Jul 2003
