Right now it appears that my wife and 2 of my
daughters will be heading to BG with me. That's
a good thing!

Now, do we all travel together in the SS? (not
fun for the back seat people - 10 & 15 years old),
does Mary follow me in the Suburban,(we did that
last year) or do I tow the SS with the Suburban?

Mary does not want to drive the Suburban that far, although she will if she has to. Hmmm.

I'm not a fan of towing the SS, I want to drive it! But I will if that's the way it plays out.

Oh - by the way - they want to go shopping in BG while I'm doing the Autocross and the drag racing
so a second vehicle or cab fare will be required.

Any thoughts?

Brian her is my two cents worth. It would be pretty uncomfortable for the kids to ride in the back so how about compromising and towing it. This way the whole family would be together traveling in the Suburban and you could have one heck of a time having fun. [Big Grin] [Cool]

Hope this helps and I truly know how much you would rather drive your baby. I love driving mine too. [Cool] [Smile] [Big Grin]

Tow it, and if the suburban gets tired or you feel like driving, drive it off and Mary can pull the empty trailer. Drop the trailer at the hotel and Mary and the girls can explore while you clean, yap, check out the cars, etc. [Smile]

Towing sounds like the best bet. That way the whole family will be able to go out and do what ever they want.

I agree that towing my SS is not high on the list of "fun" things to do, since driving it is so damned fun, but, since you have to bring two vehicles and you have the means to tow it, you may as weel tow it. Then once you are there you can have a ball AC and Drag and touring and . . . . [Big Grin]

Let your family ride in comfort and tow the SS. You won't regret having a 2nd vehicle that weekend.

(By the way....go out there and put the SS banner in the Suburban right now.) [Smile]

I'll vote against everyone ... drive the SS ..and let JeffY drive the 'burban. Mary and the girls can rotate around any way they like. [Big Grin]

Lessee that'll be you, Mary and the girls in the SS, JeffY and your luggage and coolers in the 'burban. [Wink] [Razz] [Razz]

Tow the Burby, but you can sit at the wheel of the SS on the trailer part of the way!! [Wink]

Sure wish I was going and had that problem. [Frown]

Thanks all, that might happen now! I was leaning

towards staying home - Sheeze - I've already
paid for 4 people!

Brian, look at it this way...the Burban probably gets the same fuel economy towing or not.I agree with Possum, drive the SS! Plus you could use a few more miles on the SS! [Smile]

... not allowed! [Frown] What yo have to do is tell Mary that you've pre-registered her and the Suburban for the autocross and on that basis, she has no choice but to come! [Big Grin]

Best regardSS,

Elie
