EMCC is renting Milan Dragway once again this Thursday night from 6-9pm. All cars and trucks welcome! Cost to run as many passes as you want is the same $30 even though the track raised their rental prices. Spectators are free and there will be a concession stand open. Now Milan has a scale to weigh your car,it you always wondered what it actually weighed. See you there!

I was there last night! Weather was good, people were great. My times could have been a little better though. I think I have a launching disorder...could barely get under 2.4 second short times. Granted, I ran the car as I drove it there (Firestone Firehawk SZ50's @ 32 psi), but I know very low 2 second times are possible. Oh well...had a blast anyway!
Thanks to EMCC for hosting the event. Can't wait to go again.

It was warm and very humid! Even after they applied track bite my son was still having traction concerns with his S-10 SS and ET Streets.About 80 cars showed up. The next rental is set for the second Thursday of October.Hope to see you there! Posts: 5682 | From: Dearborn,Mi. | Registered: Feb 2002

You're right Greg. I guess I was speaking in relative terms. The last time I ran my car at Milan was last July. It was 95 degrees and 90%+ humidity, so this was an improvement!
Hopefully I'll be able to make it to next month as well.
