Being a new SS owner, I need to know what you "seasoned" SS owners have for links to some parts, etc. I have the SLP website, are there any other good ones out there that you could share with me?

Thanks in advance.

Waiting on a Tom Henry SS to be shipped to my front door next week sometime.

A really good place to start is the board Sponsors!

If you have any specfic ideas, we have all done research on various items and can help!

Just be warned, once you start, it is very addictive. Many of us said, "I'm leaving it stock, it is an awesome car just the way it is".

I've bought a lot from afterthoughtsauto and great people to deal with. Wow, you're thinking of modding the SS before you even have it! hehe
If you need OEM parts, try www.gmpartsdirect.com Feel free to ask here for specific part numbers, everyone loves to go out of their way and help you. [Smile]

Depends what you are looking for but there are tons of vendors out there.

GM Parts Direct, BMR, Thunder Racing, Steve Spohn, Sam Strano, Stealth Performance, Afterthoughts Auto to name a few.

If you know what particular part are looking for and want to know where to get it then just ask away, there are plenty of helpers here!

I'm really interested in locating some carbon fiber fuel rail covers. Some folks have mentioned that the corvette's can be modified from venders, but I havn't seen any carbon fiber ones.

Any help?

Seems like they were all over the place a couple years ago! Now, the only thing I can find is this:

http://www.customracer.com/camaro_engine.html

They are pricey though! This is where Steve (Steven2000SS) bought his for his 2000 SS. He apparently painted his but you can see what they look like.
