Had to cancel BG so I'm at work instead of on the road. Would anyone from NC or the Detroit area be willing to pick up the 2 Die Cast Camaros that I had requested. My brother lives in Southgate, so anyone from that area that would get them for me he could pick them up and send them to me.

Morning all ........... we're buttoned up and waiting on Isabel to arrive ............ hope the Bowling Green people have safe trips and have a wonderful time
The picture of the day ..... Raymond Godman's Woody Gilmore built, Don Kirby painted, Preston Davis driven "Tennessee Bo-Weevil" tows out of the staging lanes next to the Blue Max at Warner Robbins, GA during the '72 season. Godman competed at the first NHRA Nationals in 1955, ran modified roadsters in the early '60's, then ran Top Fuel dragsters before switching to Funny Cars in 1972. All the team's efforts were rewarded by winning the Division 2 F/C title that year.
Godman, confined to a wheelchair because of injuries suffered in the Korean War, never let his condition influence his attitude. He was a class gentleman and an inspiration to us all

Gotta run down to Linda's mom's place on the Jersey shore tonight in order to pack up a bunch of stuff, just in case they get a storm surge from Isabel. Oh, joy, four hours of driving. Whoopee!
