I wanted to add the 12 disk changer to my Monsoon sound system on my 2002 SS, and I had a couple questions. The car seems to be wired for the changer already because there is a bundled up cable in the trunk area by the drivers side rear speaker. Unfortuately it looks like a wide flat (two rows of pins) connecter, not the square type like I see on most of the GM changers currently for sale on e-bay. Can anyone who has the Monsoon system tell me what the part number is on their 12 Disk changer? The other thing is, every time I have my car washed, another one of those little rubber bumpers somewhere on the car vanishes. I'm talking about the little round rubber bumpers that seem to be everywhere on the car (like the ones that stop the cargo cover), and the square ones that stop the windshield wipers. What is a good source to replace those? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

I can get it for you, but not tonight! Unfortunately, the back of the player is too far into the rear fender to see. I'll have to unbolt my unit in order to see the number. Shouldn't be too much trouble though. I'm just not going to do it tonight! I'll check back tomorrow and if you don't have an answer by then, I'll hook you up. Macky

Since no one else replied, here is what I found on the back of my cd player:
PIONEER 25678544
Ref # X194US
I hope this helps you out.
