Im not sure if they are offered on this site, heard something about some limited runs with SSOA "build" #s on them, but just wanted to let you guys know that a local shop here in CA has 3 35th LE cars and 3 SSOA edition die casts sitting there.
I bought 1 LE and 1 SSOA edition car, along with a Revell plastic model 35th LE car, which they have a coupe of those left too.
If anyone is interested let me know... the shop specializes in die cast sales so either I can have you call the shop owner and ship to you.. or I could pick them up for you and ship them out to you as well.
The 35th LE car was $29.99 and the SSOA car was $31.99. The Revell model car was $13.99 I believe.
If anyone is interested in these email me at Avengeance96es@aol.com.

There are some SSOA cars that went out around the country from BG that are numbered for SSOA members.
Ask around, I brought back some extra for people in the area that could not make the trip .I know others did the same .

Some people brought extras home from BG. If you can find someone willing to part with one.
I believe the rest of the die-casts will be sold through Afterthoughts Auto. These are the numbered ones.
Price $TBD

If somebody was at BG and picked up some extras would it have a SSOA sticker with it. That is about the only way that I think that you would be able to get a sticker. I hope somebody didn't give you an inflated price .

I only paid $31.99 for it so its not that inflated.
Im just curious... that little "Limited Edition" sticker on the front of the box, top right corner, does that indicate it came from the same run as the BG ones?
Also.. in the above pic.. the thing that looks like a card with Terris name on it.. is that supposed to be on the outside of the box or is that on the inside? Looks like a trading card.

The LE sticker should have a number of 1 to 500 in gold stamped in the top right hand corner. If it dosent then it is not one of the 500 from BG.

We're not talking the gold printing on the box that looks like a trophy and says Limted Edition. That's a part of the box.
We're talking about a clear, separate sticker that measures 3" x 3.5" designed to be placed on the front, left hand side of the plastic window on the box. It is numbered and explains that it is one of 500 cars exclusively allocated & distributed by the SSOA. The other 1500 cars made were sent by Welly to their distributors for resale and do not have this special decal. It was only available at the B.G. event and is being sold for the SSOA by AfterthoughtsAuto.com since they did not sell out at the event.
Pricing will most likely be at $35 to absorb the cost of shipping the remainder of the event cars to Texas and the cost of shipping cartons, handling, overhead, etc.
While you're on AfterthoughtsAuto's website, make sure you take a look at the other cool stuff they offer. They offer SSOA members a discount on their other items, so it's worth browsing.
Hopefully, one of our members with a pic of their die cast with the decal installed on the plastic window will post an example. (I won't be taking pics of ours until this weekend.)

Welly suggested a price higher than that, but we offered them to our members attending the B.G. show a special price for that weekend only. Now that we've had to go through extra expense to distribute the rest, the price will now be in line with Welly's suggested pricing. If you buy it from anyone other than AfterthoughtsAuto.com or from the SSOA at the B.G. event, it's not going to have the special numbered decal.

That trophy looking thing that says Limted Edition is part of the box design from Welly. It's on all 2000 of them.

THAT is the clear decal we're talking about that is sequentially numbered as 1 of 500 cars that have passed through the SSOA's hands. It can be adhered to the plastic window of the box or be displayed next to the car if one chooses to show it out of the box.
