i guess you could say worth is only accounted for by what a person, namely a potential buyer, is willing to pay for the item. to me, the LE is worth more as i personally love SS's and would be inclined to buy an SS.

I agree. But I doubt that our Firehawk brothers and sisters will.

The only thing that I could say with the slightest bit of confidence is the car that cost more when it was new is probably worth more today... and that's only if you are comparing the same year cars.
Like Chris said, these cars aren't going to start appreciating in the near future... if at all.

hmm in 11 years SLP made just a hair over 5000 Firehawks in total and they are pontiacs so that is a plus !!!
Why have an LE with the vinyl stripes that cannot be touched-up with paint if you get a rock chip, when you can have a Firehawk.. with TA seats that make even Z06 owners drool
but the LE are an anniversary edition and have historically been more popular than rarer versions
So far I do not know of too many people looking for early firehawks..
wait 20 years and I will tell you what is more collectable ... right now the mass public likes the anniversary editions as they think they are limited and they know about them ... most of the public is still firehawk stupid... even dealers
