Morning all ................ hope everyone has a fine day
The picture of the day ................... another good ol' Texas boy .......... Raymond Beadle at the controls of Harry Schmidt's "Blue Max" ............... this '72 Buttera bodied car is probably the most famous of the early cars ............... Raymond went on to buy out Schmidt and campaign the cars on his own until the '80's ............... at that time he bought a Winston Cup team and wound up winning the '88 Winston Cup Championship with driver Rusty Wallace and sponsor Kodiak .................. not bad for a country boy from Lubbock, Texas

Good morning friends. A very sad day for Happy_Dan today. I watched my very good friend take his last breaths last night. He fought a valient fight against cancer but finally couldn't fight any more. I know you will be praying for him, his family, and me. His name is Charlie. He is at peace.
